Lincoln County, North Carolina Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions - April 1807:
On motion of Robert Williamson, Esq., ordered by Court that Abram Smith pay unto Eve Hoover the sum of £15 for the first year's maintenance of a base born child begotten on the body of the said Eve of which the said Adam is the reputed father, £12 for the second year and £8 for the third year. Sci. fa. issued for first year's allowance.
