Last will & testament of James M. Lemond: Being in a declining state of health...I allow my wife Elizabeth Lemond to have the land whereon I live for the purpose of raising my family, and when the youngest comes of age an equal division is to be made among them. I also allow her to have the use of all of my household furniture for herself and my family, my mare, my farming utensils, and livestock. It is also my will that Rebecca Moore live in her house. My smith tools, clock, punch, shotgun and rifle gun, grindstone and hangings, pot and dutch oven, barrels and kegs, riding chaise, and steel traps are to be sold, but I give my watch to my son John Lemond. The funds arising from the sale of the above items are to be invested at interest until my son John comes of age. Exr: Andrew Moore. Wit: Joseph Flinn and W. McK. Lemmond. [Herman W.
