1828 Nov Session Mecklenburg Court - Ordered by Court that Matthew Wallace, Dan Alexander & Abner Hunter, Esqrs, or any two of them, be a committee to settle the estate of ROBERT LEMOND, decd, with James R Neely the administrator. 1829 May Session Mecklenburg Court - In court, Thomas L Hutchinson vs James R Neely, Admr of ROBT LEMMOND. [Plea -] Payt & set off, fully admr, no assets, former judgment. Jury impaneled and finds all of the issues in favour of the plaintiff & assess his damage to $129.16 of which sum $118.50 is principal money. The jury finds further that the administrator has assets to the amount of $37.18 and no more. The judgment of the Court vs the administrator for said amount and costs of the suit.

Ordered by the Court that the Clerk be appointed Guardian pending litigation of the infant heirs of ROBT LEMMOND, Decd., to wit: JOHN W, ROBERT, JAMES N, CYRUS & ANN LEMMOND.
Thaddus Gardner vs James R Neely, admr of ROBERT LEMMOND. Judgment for $26.28 with interest subject to the plea of fully administered, execution returned levied on land &c. Ordered by the Court that Isaac Alexander be appointed Guardian pending litigation of JOHN W, ROBERT, JAMES, CYRUS & ANN LEMMOND, and that said guardian show cause why the land should not be sold to pay debt.

Wm Smith vs Jas R Neely, admr of ROBERT LEMMOND (&?) heirs of ROBERT LEMMOND. Judgement for $53.71 & Court costs, subject to pleas etc; ordered that Isaac Alexander be appointed Guardian pending litigation to the heirs of ROBERT LEMMOND, decd, etc.

Wm Smith vs Jas R Neely, admr of ROBERT LEMMOND. Judgement for $20.31 & Court costs, same as above. [Herman W. Estate Papers of Robert Lemmond:
1826 Aug Session Mecklenburg Court - August 28 1826 - Ordered by Court that TERRISA LEMMOND & JAMES R. NEELY administer on the estate of ROBERT LEMMOND, decd. They appeared in Court and were qualified and entered into bond with WM K LEMMOND & MARS LEMOND, securities, in the sum of Ł300.
In September 1831 Terrissa Lemmond petitioned the court to lay off a dower of land to her from her late husband's property on Sugar Creek adjoining the lands of DAN ALEXANDER.
Feb 28 1832 - Mecklenburg County, NC - TERRISSA LEMMOND went bond for $100 with DAN ALEXANDER as security to serve as guardian for JOHN W., ROBERT W., JAMES N., JANE A., AND CYRUS M. LEMMOND, orphans of ROBERT LEMMOND deceased.
