126. ALEXANDER, Elizabeth.  1834.  [10 pages]  See also estate of John G. Alexander.

Administrators Bond, 27 May 1834.  SILAS ORR was appointed administrator of the estate of ELIZABETH ALEXANDER, Decd., and bound in the amount of $120 to David L. Swain, Gov. of the State of N.C.  Security:  Dan. Alexander.   Wit: D. R. Dunlap

Guardian Bond, 27 May 1834.  SILAS ORR was appointed guardian of the estate of SUSAN C. ALEXANDER and SARAH J. A. ALEXANDER, Orphans of ELIZABETH ALEXANDER, Decd., and bound in the sum of $400 to David L. Swain, Governor of N.C., secured by Dan. Alexander.  Wit. D. R. Dunlap.

Sale, 20 June 1834.  The admr., SILAS ORR, reported proceeds of $55.97 from the sale of household and kitchen items, including "Worfull Irons," and farm animals sold to the following:  MARS LEMMOND, Marcus S. Alexander, Moses Strickland, Jeremiah Maxwell, James McNeely, Edwin L. Alexander, Andrew H. Alexander, Moses W. Alexander, and Saml. W. Wilson.

Sale, 1 Nov 1834.  The proceeds at this sale came to $26.40 from corn and wheat sold to Andrew C. Miller, Wilson Montgomery, and M. W. Alexander.

Settlement, 24 July 1837.  Justices M. W. Alexander and Saml McComb were appointed to make this settlement with the admr, SILAS ORR, and found assets totaling $101.06.  They also approved 17 vouchers from disbursements made by the admr. that with his commission came to the same amount.  Payments had been made to the following:  David Parks, Brawley Oates, William Alexander, James McNeely, E. L. Alexander, M. W. Alexander, Joseph H. Wilson, M. H. Cannon, William N. Spears, and Edwin Alexander.

Guardian Bond, 28 Jan 1840.  SILAS ORR was appointed guardian of the estate of SARAH J. ALEXANDER, and bound in the sum of $150 to the State of N.C., secured by Dan. Alexander.

Settlement, 27 Apr 1840.  Justices Jas. H. Orr and M. W. Alexander were appointed to make this settlement with SILAS ORR, Guardian of SARAH J. ALEXANDER.  The Justices found assets of $85.09 in the hands of the guardian and approved a guardian account, fees paid to Brawley Oates, CCC, and
commission to the admr. totaling $28.61 leaving in the hands of the admr. $54.48.
