Notes for Nancy M. Lemmond
One researcher had Robert (Clay) Allison, the gunfighter, being born 1840 in Waynesboro, Wayne Co.,TN to John and Nancy McCullough (Lemmons/Lemon) Allison. He married Dora McCullough in 1873 in New Mexico. I have not done any research on this, however, there has been at least three books and a movie made about "Clay" Allison and presume that they would have done a lot of research.
