P. 43 - October 13, 1858 - Married in Bladen Co., by John A. Wooten, Peter S. Perry to Miss Sarah Ann Wheeler.
P.44 - May 5, 1859 - Died near White Hall, Bladen Co., Mr. John A. Wooten, in the 39th year of life. The deceased came to his untimely death by a fall from his horse while riding over his farm, having lived 10 hours after the accident. (Son of Shadrack Wooten, Jr. and Elizabeth Treadwell. He married Mary Margaret Anders)

Died: Near White Hall, Bladen Co., Mr. John A. Wooten, age 39 yrs. - killed by accident after falling from his horse - leaves wife and six children.
