Notes for Mary Alice Howell

"Aunt Mary never married. She lived with Mother and Daddy [Mr. and Mrs. John Vincent Howell] for a very long time. Alice [Howell Powell] says that she raised her until after I was born. Her name was Mary Alice. When I was maybe six or seven, she stayed with us in the summer and in Lynchburg in the winter. She died in June of 1945."
