Notes for Jessie Howell

"Aunt Jesse married Roy Massey. They lived in quite a number of places. He worked for the Jewell Tea Company. They finally settled down in Charlottesville. They had three children. Malcolm retired as an Admiral in the Navy and now lives in Florida. He and his first wife had two sons. Hazel married and had a daughter Judy who was retarded. She was a seven month [premature] baby and was always told that the retardation was caused at birth. Judy had two children, died, and Hazel and her husband raised those children until her death a few years ago. Roger was the youngest child. He was killed on a flight mission in Florida during WWII."

Judy gave birth to a baby that died at Athlone Farm the night before funeral for John Vincent "Jack" Howell, Sr.
