"William Howell was a brother, I think younger than Thomas - I have never been sure. He married a lady named Nellie. They had a son William and I know one other son named Martin. He lived in New Jersey also. He is the one who came to Virginia when Grandfather Thomas bought the property and spent a couple of years fixing up the property. He is also the one who took the glass plate pictures. His son Cousin Will married and after his death, his wife Elizabeth moved to Lynchburg to be near her daughter Helen. They had at least four other children - Louise, Dorothy, Elizabeth and Billy. I knew Billy fairly well when he was at the University of Virginia. He married and has children and the last I heard was teaching at a University in Texas. He has been working on a universal language when he was teaching at the University of Ohio. Elizabeth married a man from Switzerland? and moved there."
