In the 1880 census, Charity Killett nee Highsmith resided in the household of her son-in-law and daughter, James Cromartie Robinson and Miriam Elizabeth Highsmith. Her relationship was listed as mother. Also residing in the home is Susy Johnson, age 60, listed as aunt.
