Notes for John Ferguson

The following note is included on a Family Group Record for Murdoch Ferguson, given to Donna Joy Johnson by Annie Belle Johnson Stone in December 1996. Sheet was last revised February 1993; author is not noted:
"Apparently Murdoch's brother John (1760-1815) and his wife Maria (1755-1815) came over with Murdoch and Nancy. They and their son John and his children are also buried in the McDonald Cemetery, but are not related to the McDonalds."

There is no proof that John FERGUSON and Murdoch FERGUSON were brothers, but many descendants believe that there is enough evidence to suggest that they were.
