Notes for Hugh Trenchard
"George's father was Hugh Trenchard, also a clothier. Hugh's dates of birth and death are unknown, but his parents married in c1751. In 1775 Hugh married his first cousin, Sara Trenchard (1754-1825), daughter of another Hugh Trenchard, and just to complicate it she had a brother Hugh Trenchard (whose descendants have also had a Hugh T in each generation)!!"
