Notes for George Trenchard
"Hugh's parents were George Trenchard and Ann Dunn, George being described as 'of Thorncombe.' George was baptised privately at his parent's home in Maudlin, Thorncombe on 14 July 1715, with the birth being registered in the non-conformist records at South Petherton, Somerset. George's parents are described as John & Elizabeth Trenchard. George died in 1782. I don't have a date for George's marriage to Ann Dunn, but there is a marriage settlement at SCRO dated 1747."
