This Sunday morning we went to Karawatha Wallum Trail.  I discovered one more thing about insect that make me, as a male, very very happy. The male Sand Wasp do help in building the nest for their young.  

After about an hours of watching two Sand Wasps building their nest, we confirm the male wasp do help. What we undaerstand was, in the insect world only the female do the parental care, including building the nest and guarding the eggs. Today we found that male do help in the insect world, at least the male Sand Wasp does. 

(Note added few days later: We just found some information about "wasp gaurding nest". The gaurding wasp actually is not the male, it is the sister. So male do not help!! It is the sister makes sense and this fit into the transition path of Hymenoptera evolution from solitary to society.)
