Dear Chew Family

I discovered your website by chance when looking for information on Soldier Flies and found it most interesting. I do not have a particular interest in insects but my home is currently being invaded by what I believe to be Soldier Fly pupae and I am anxious to know why! Thank you for taking the trouble to publish your findings. Jim

Stumbled upon your site from Wikipedia's tent spider article. You're really doing terrific stuff! The meticulous descriptions of web construction remind me of the kind of patient natural history work that earned Darwin and Wallace their reputations. I look forward to exploring the rest of your site!

I am looking for a name of a bug that I found eating a malberry on the ground in front of my house in Phoenix. The bug is 2.25 inches long, wings, solid orange head and body with black wings, pinchers for jaws. He sure liked the Malberry. I have never seen one like this before. I have pictures I would like to send you to see if anyone knows about this insect. Please email me so that I may get these pictures to you. Thank you
