Selibaby Girl's Camp

In mid-December 2002, a two-day Girls' Camp was held in Selibaby. Participants were members of the new Girls' Mentoring Center. During this two-day workshop, speakers talked about the importance of setting goals, education, passing the BAC and women's health issues. Two dynamic, successful professional women from Nouakchott gave inspirational presentations regarding their experiences and the obstacles they had to overcome. Art (including the quilt shown below which will be displayed in the Girls' Mentoring Center) and computer activities rounded out this event.
