The Peer Counselor Organization (PCO) of ZAEC was initially conceived in 1987 and finally organized in 1992 by Dr. Marilyn A. De Asis. The PCO is a baby project of the SPS Director. This was the effect of one male student in Education 6 accidentally helped a co-boarder who was emotionally burdened . SInce the problem was too difficult for him, this particular student thought of referring the case to the director. In return, the director gave alternatives and options, which the student shared it to the co-boarder. With this simple referral, that boarder was relieved with his emotional distress and personally came to the office to give thanks to the director. With this background, the PCO came to exist, with this Mission and Vision "CLIENT WELLNESS IS OUR SERVICE."
