Toronto, Canada Reunion - February 6, 2000

Well guys- i think i have to give up my crown. i should be dethroned as the gimmick queen. can u believe, i ditched going to Babaloos (latin dance place) and Ivory (disco hip/hop) for a slumber party with the girls - me the dancing queen??? and to think it took kendee an hour to finally get the directions down pat. (boy, she is so good with directions, ilang beses lang kaming naligaw). Seriously, the ladies (lina, kendee and cata) and I just enjoyed good food,(lots of it - wait til you guys see the pictures - we were pigs, who wouldn't on soft shell crabs,eh?)excellent company and a great time reminiscing about the PCS days. we actually talked about ALL of u! no one was spared. we had so much fun si lina and kendee ended up sleeping in my hotel room - hindi na umuwi yung dalawa - kinalimutan na yung pamilya basta lang makatsismis.

ok - question who remembers the song we used to sing in the schoolbus on the way back to school from the taytay recollection? ask cata - "here we are all together now" (o kumakanta na ba kayo?) bilib ako kay cata eh alam na alamn niya yung lyrics we sang it pa nga all together and we felt like we were back in highschool :). How about nung we were exploited as kids - si lina natatandaan pa niyang nagbubunot at nagflofloorwax nang corridor. they made us think its a contest yun pala para makasave lang nang janitorial expenses ang PCS. but in retrospect it was good for us - kasi hanggang ngayon ayaw pa rin maglinis. so you guys remember the song fest held in the multi-purpose room? kendee remembers the twins in the higher batch always won. anyone know their name? how about the notable teachers like ms anniversario, ms balina (we docked when she talked hehehehe!), ms bartolome the stamp collector. you'd be on her A list if you brought stamps to school. we had fun talking about the cute guys and who's the crush of who. richie, cata remembers the incident in the library with your "sweaty" hands because your crush (and i'm not going to name names) walked past :).

do you guys also remember whenever the teachers asked for volunteers to bring "stuff" to the boys department and lina is always the first one to raise her hand :) (she denies it though) how about the annual injections at the clinic - where we had to fall in line scared to death while waiting our turn to get the shot? well you kinda get a feeling of what we did while i was in canada - REMINISCED and i tell yah it was great fun. we all had gas pain by the time we all parted. all in all, this trip ranks the same as my trip to the philippines. i truly enjoyed the generosity of lina (thank you for the chocolates - talagang pinapataba mo ako), cata (thank you for the beautiful picture frame - i will definitely put our pictures in it and the raspberry tea yumyum)and kendee (for the delicious food and the double caramel crunch cake - another makasira nang figure but definitely well worth it and the chauffer service tho naligaw tayo a few times hehehehe! i miss you guys and you better keep your promise of visiting me here in michigan. well that's all folks (ang haba na nga eh). hope you had fun reminscing along with me though you weren't there. until next time when i hit another town (or country) in search of other batchmates. the pictures are on their way. i'm having them developed later. see yah all!

You know guys, we did have tons of fun (para kaming mga sira...screaming, laughing, jumping and doing high 5's in the hotel room). It was truly an experience....thanks to my best buddy, GQ aka QG aka JSQ (her newly earned title).

Lina and Cata had demonstrated their memory skills when they started talking about who's who, who did what...and to whom (he-he). We even talked about Mang Julio, who was the head janitor at PCS. Golly, talk about dedication to PCS. He must have spent his entire lifetime working for PCS. Compared to these three(Cata, Lina and Boots), I suck big time when it comes to remembering high school mates. I guess, somewhere along the way, I was abducted by aliens and they must have erased that part of my memory.

Well folks, I think this is long enough and it's getting late. Istorbo talaga and trabaho...nakakasira ng good time....till next issue.
