naku gabs, please don't bring it up na, coz guilting -guilty ako. there was no mexico escapade dahil sa kin. sorry everyone - nawawala kasi ang passport ko eh. kaya nga ninenerbiyos na ako baka di ako makapunta sa pinas this december. i really have to do a major search for it. asap para maka request nang bago.

anyway the san diego trip was perfect. miles and raim were the perfect host and hostess. of course mars said aalis nang 6am pero guess what nakaalis kami nang almost 10am na yata yon. when we got to miles place, we were greeted by some excellent food which was great kasi gutom- na gutom na kami. we devoured everything talagang walang hiya. tops ang sinigang na bangus ni raim. swerte ka miles bait na ang sarap pa magluto. after eating and laughing until we had gas pain, we ventured to sea coast inn where miles rented a suite a la penthouse kasi nasapinakataas na floor. excellent - it had three bedrooms and two baths (which was really important) dahil marami kaming babae and of course overlooking the beach pa. then chikahan na naman and mars mixed us all some drinks - her sex on the beach was awesome! then some of us took a walk along the beach - others took a nap, others watched tv and others ewan ko kung anong ginawa. afterwards we all trekked down or up to downtown san diego to have dinner. o btw, raimond, miles cutie son was also our tour guide. we had dinner at dicks last resort where we had ribs, crab legs, chicken wings, shrimps etc., etc, etc and of course margaritas to drink. tapos si noel at gene na maloko pinagawa ako nang balloon shaped like a........ ewan ko ang tingin ko eh mickey mouse, what do you guys think? anyway, all along we have our youngest group member with us all through this gimmick, guess who> Lourdeen (?) - tama ba ang spelling? boy she was really game - never heard her cry. imagine kasama pa namin sa bar - boy we start them young eh? after we were all stuffed and full of gas in our stomach sa kakatawa, we headed back to the suite. ako fell asleep so ewan ko na kung anong nagyari after that. so guys take it away!!!! i know meron pang skit and lots of drinking di ba? i know i missed out on that part of the fun but talagang hilo na ko sa antok so kayo naman ang magkwento. mamaya ko naman ikukwento yung happennings nang thursday and friday. later... inggit kayo? di bale may chance pa kayo - meron nanaman yatang get-together around san diego after the grand reunion in the philippines - abangan ok?

hi gabz - sayang at hindi ka nakasama. it was a lot of fun from LA to San Diego at dahil sa ating 'reyna' na kinalimutan ang passport, hindi tuloy kami nag-punta ng mexico.:)biro lang, bootsie! however, at the rate we were moving, kahit siguro dala ni boots iyung passport niya, hindi pa rin kami makakarating!

anyway, let me supplement boots story and at the same time send my thanks to...

tolits - thank you for picking me up at the airport and sorry ulit sa pag-isnab ko sa iyo initially at hindi naman kasi kita kilala, eh. sayang at hindi ka nakasama sa san diego. ang bait mo naman kasi, ayaw mong makinig sa akin to call your boss and tell them na na-food poisoning ka. don't worry, i am sure there will be other days.

gene - thank you for the crash course in dancing! and thank you also to my dancing partners - that was a lot of fun. repeat performance sa dec. 1 & 2, okay?

mars - muchas gracias! what can i say! very cool ang place mo and after drinking the different variety of port wine till 6:00 am, i think richie and i are port wine experts by now. to the uninformed, after we came back to mars place from the dance club around 2:00 am, richie (dahil medyo delayed ang arrival niya) was still pumped up and didn't want to sleep so the 3 of us, Mars, Richie and myself braced ourselves for the wine tasting activities. so, from 2:00 am to 6:00am, we chichat, drank wine and ate pistachio nuts. we finally went to sleep at 6:00 am but guess what, by 6:30, Grace, Jose and Lourdeen (did i spell that right?) arrived and we were very excited to see them, we decided we didn't need sleep at all. Grace, thanks for your famouse ube cake and sans rival(talagang walang karibal). then, the rest of the gang came after that and for breakfast, mars had a very strange combination of food to offer - coffee, oj, cheese, bread and of course, beer! for those who are starting really early! and then, finally, 3 1/2 hourse after the scheduled departure time, we started our trip to San Diego. mars - thank you uli for your patience in listening to us (boots, richie, goody and myself) sing-along with the blaring '70s music (courtesy of boots). buti na lang you were able to keep your sanity!

miles - what can i say! muchas, muchas gracias to you and raim! the food and the accomodations were excellent! it was really wonderful seeing you again after all those years (napa-iyak tuloy ako!) and finally meeting your family. ang cu-cute ng mga anak mo. by the way, nangumpisal na ba si raimond sa iyo? he is so cute - reminds me of my own little boy, jay. your idea of getting a place (penthouse pala!) by the beach is awesome! just watching and listening to the waves was very soothing - ayaw ko na ngang umuwi, eh. pwede bang bumalik?

and to the rest of the gang, the time i spent with you all sharing laughter, thoughts, musings and 'what not' will be one of the most memorable time i will cherish forever. thanks for your friendship and to our resident psychologist, Noel-at saka na lang ang fee mo, okay? btw, sorry at bumagsak na ako and wasn't able to stay past 3:00 am - pinatulog kasi ako ni Lourdeen, eh. or was it the margaritas that did it!

o, sige, bye for now, mga amigos and amigas. looking forward to the grand reunion in dec.

p.s. Tirso - as i promised you, nag-lumuhod ako at nag-maka-awa kay miles and raim to grace the '75 grand reunion with her presence. i haven't given up on Miles yet - so i suggest, tulungan mo akong mag- novena kay St. Jude, okay?

Hello, everyone !!!!

Gabby, nasaan ka?? Dapat sumama ka sa San Diego (hindi man kami nakatawid sa Mexico). Next time, kasama ka na at siguradong dadalhin na ni Buchay ang passport niya.

Sa mga nakarating, maraming maraming salamat for visiting us down south ... we had so much fun. Raim felt bombed he missed the sleepover... my kids had fun with the newfound uncles and aunties and of course godsister, Lourdeen.

Vix, we really have to spend more time together. This was too short to make up for lost time. I have not given up yet, either... may pag-asa pa siguro (Tigu, verification - - - lumuhod talaga si Vix!!!). And yes, nangumpisal si Raimond ---- muchas gracias to all !!

The Leather Triumvirate (Richie, Boots and Gene) --- ano, when do we do this again ??? Anthony and Reuben, you should be with us the next time --- they all behaved ... Richie, sorry, walang message in a bottle pero nakakita naman kayo ni Mars ng mermaid...

Goody, may utang ka pang kanta sa amin ni Vix ---

Mars, wala akong masabi ... pagbalik niyo ni Pangga, dapat hindi ka puyat para maka-gala tayo ng husto sa Gaslamp. Bilib ako sa "mixing" capabilities mo, both sa music at sa drinks!!!

Noel, ikaw ang may authentic "souvenir" from this reunion. Sabi nga ni Vix, ikaw talaga ang resident psychologist ... pagbalik mo, dalhin kita sa H_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _!

Grace and Jose ... you guys are so good together. Bring the other kids next time ... ang sarap ng ube and sans rival (tumakbo si Raim twice the usual distance para ma-burn yung calories from the sweeties).
