Dear Overseas Batchmates,

I am really overwhelmed to know that you have all been participating and have gotten in touch with one another in the past months. Here in your native abode, we have been trying our best to come up with project/activities to raise funds and at the same time be more visible to the school and its community via the Scholarship Program and other means where money/donation is key.

We have raised, so far, a little more than P 100,000.00 which is obviously not enough to fund our projects, not to mention the additional cost we will incur in the General Homecoming proper come Dec 02, 2000. Looking at the fund-raising projects we have lined up (please refer to Babes Tolentino's e-mail), we need all your support: I suppose by now, you know that we are asking for your support by donating at least US $ 100.00 each. Payment may be staggered until November, at the latest (but please don't wait until the last minute to make your payment). I'm pretty sure this is not too much to ask from all of you who are earning much much more (at dollars pa !!!)

We are finalizing our SEC Registration so we can have a legal, registered name. We need this to open a bank account (savings) where you could put in all your donations. We also need this legal entity for our souvenir program solicitation/invitation. We'll keep you posted on this matter soon so everybody can start sending money.

Finally, I really hope all of you can make it to the General Homecoming.

Wouldn't it be nice if we have a "show of force" during the homecoming? Be part of this momentous event. Do all the necessary preparation (eg. inform you employer about your leave of absence as early as now) to make sure you're here.
