SOUTH COAST PRO WRESTLING
PNE Garden Auditorium
Vancouver, BC 10/20/2006
SPIKE IDOL made short work of LADIES' CHOICE by using his "Idolizer" (Kip James' "Famouser") to put LC down for the three-count at 8:03.
JONATHAN WHITE (with Don Corleone) DDTed HAIDA WARRIOR to make it a short night for the Native Canadian star (in what would turn out to be his final SCPW appearance), scoring the pin at 12:25. Afterward, White invited Corleone and the just-arrived Tony Valentino into the ring for a triple-team beatdown on Warrior, climaxing with The Racketeers delivering the "Sleeping with the Fishes" to their outmanned foe, before Vid Vain ran out with a chair to clear the Cartel members out for the save.
"BOMBER" NELSON CREED dropkicked TOM PEARCE'S bodyguard, The Hoodlum, off the ring apron into the ringside railing before catching Pearce in the Texas cloverleaf, forcing the ex-Juvenile Delinquents member to tap out at 10:43 to give Creed the submission victory.
GREATNESS ON DEMAND (Michelle Starr & Vance Nevada, with "Playboy" Buddy Rose) beat HOT & BOTHERED (Cole Bishop & Kurt Sterling) when Nevada pinned Sterling at 13:08 after executing his "Grade A" finisher.
"MR. WRESTLING" DEREK VOORHEES (with Buddy Rose) narrowly avoided disaster when "WILDMAN" DARREN OSBORNE went for a rollup pin attempt; referee Bill Coltrane reached two in his pin count before Voorhees reversed the rollup and scored the three-count (with an assist from a handful of Osborne's tights for illegal leverage) at 12:05.
MARK RILEY prevented Buddy Rose from scoring three in a row for victories tonight when, after an evenly-fought contest, he delivered the tilt-a-whirl backbreaker to Rose's charge, THE ACE, and got the 1-2-3 at 15:37.
In preparation for next week's NWA Canadian women's title tournament, FAITH HUTCHINS & VERONIKA VICE were victorious in their tag team bout as they downed MADISON & NIKKI MATTHEWS (with Don Corleone) after Faith blocked Madison's flying headscissors attempt and turned it into a Don Leo Jonathan-style Mormon swing to send the blonde heel for a ride, followed by a superkick that put Madison down for the pin at 9:06 while Veronika cut Nikki off to prevent interference with Faith's successful pin.
VID VAIN made a comeback after getting beaten bloody by "HITMAN" TONY VALENTINO (with Don Corleone) and put the notorious Racketeer on the defensive with a series of power moves, eventually setting Valentino up for his "Vain Drop" finisher, when Jonathan White ran in and clobbered Vain from behind with his nunchakus, resulting in Vain getting the DQ win as referee Vern Siebert ordered the bell rung at 11:17. Corleone ran in right after the bell and threw Siebert out of the ring, then helped Valentino and White in another triple-team attack that saw White continue using the martial arts weapon he brandished to further batter the heavily-bleeding Newfoundland native (as payback for Vain's earlier save of Haida Warrior) while The Racketeers held onto each of Vain's arms - but Mark Riley made the save moments later when he charged in swinging a chair and sent The Cartel running out to ringside as the fans went wild. After helping Vain to his feet, Riley grabbed the arena microphone and laid down a challenge to White to face him one-on-one next week. (Promoter's note - that match has been made, as a non-tourney bout at next week's NWA Canadian women's title tournament show)
