NWA CANADIAN WOMEN'S TITLE TOURNAMENT, 1ST ROUND:

MISTY HAVEN vs. VERONIKA VICE: Veronika became the first casualty of the tournament when she fell to Haven's Spike DDT for the pinfall loss at 8:05 as Haven advanced.
SARAH STOCK vs. NIKKI MATTHEWS: Nikki's attempts to get aggressive with Sarah during their bout turned out in vain as Stock scored the win at 7:27 by flattening Nikki with a top-rope senton.
MADISON (with Don Corleone) vs. KRYSTA LYNN SCOTT: Although Scott gave a spirited effort against the experienced Madison, it would be Madison coming out on top as the blonde diva put the flying headscissors on Scott to take her down, then got the pinfall at 7:46 by illegally grabbing the bottom rope for leverage, out of sight of referee Mike Edwards as he counted the pin.
FAITH HUTCHINS vs. SEXY SAMANTHA: Faith, considered a huge favorite by the fans to win the tourney and become the first Canadian women's champion following her pinfall victory over Madison in their tag team bout last week, had to wrestle from behind against the seemingly more powerful Samantha, but it was Faith's speed and martial arts skills that got her past the first hurdle as she floored Samantha with the enzuigiri to get the three-count at 9:13 and move into the semifinals.

HOT & BOTHERED (Cole Bishop & Kurt Sterling) scored a colossal upset after coming from behind against THE RACKETEERS (Don Corleone & Vito Lograsso, with Tony Valentino) when, as Corleone had Sterling in position for a powerslam, Sterling slipped off of Corleone's shoulder and German suplexed the Racketeer, then bridged up for the pin attempt as referee Bill Coltrane counted while Bishop ran in and dropkicked Lograsso, getting the win at 12:18 as the fans broke out in wild cheers over H&B's upset win. Valentino, however, made Bishop and Sterling pay dearly for their victory when he ran in and cracked Sterling from behind with brass knuckles, then dropped Bishop to the mat as well with a shot from the weapon before Lograsso and the recovered Corleone joined him to go on a triple-team attack on the young tandem - at least until Mark Riley ran in wielding a hockey stick and cleared the ring of all three Racketeers to make the save for Sterling and Bishop.

NWA CANADIAN WOMEN'S TITLE TOURNAMENT, SEMIFINALS:

SARAH STOCK vs. MISTY HAVEN: After a back-and-forth contest, Sarah sent Misty on a one-way ticket out of the tourney as "Canada's #1 Bitch" fell victim to Sarah's tornado DDT and got pinned at 11:35, sending Stock into the final.
MADISON vs. FAITH HUTCHINS: Madison spent a good deal of her semifinal bout attempting to frustrate Faith and do damage to her by using a foreign object to strike the popular New Westminsterite, or by using a piece of rope to choke Faith, while Don Corleone (who had given both items to Madison earlier) distracted Mike Edwards to enable his charge to weaken her foe. Soon, Faith had enough of Madison's shenanigans and battled back, stealing the blonde heel's weapon away and going on the offensive as the crowd rooted Faith on, urging her to give Madison her just desserts as she unleashed a karate attack on the diva - but as Edwards turned around and spotted Faith holding the weapon, he started questioning the brunette beauty about it; Faith denied using it, but both Madison and Corleone piped up and claimed that she had done so, resulting in Edwards calling for the bell at 8:22 and disqualifying Faith. The fans, feeling cheated at the outcome, made their vocal displeasure felt as they booed loudly, while Faith also berated Edwards for messing up the call and not catching Madison with the object first, then cursed out Madison and Corleone for screwing her out of the chance to go to the championship final while the heel duo laughed at the misfortune they caused Faith.

SOUTH COAST X-DIVISION TITLE 10-MAN GAUNTLET MATCH:
FIRST LEG - SCOTTY MAC vs. ICE: Mac drew first blood in the match as he put Ice away with a rollup pin at 4:27.
SECOND LEG - KURT STERLING vs. SCOTTY MAC: Sterling, despite enduring a brutal beatdown by The Racketeers earlier, still managed to tough it out and put Mac down for the pin at 6:04 after a flying forearm smash.
THIRD LEG - MEMPHIS RAINES vs. KURT STERLING: The fresh man Raines came in and ultimately got the better of the battered Sterling when he nailed the Hot & Bothered member with his "Hard Raine" finisher at 7:18.
FOURTH LEG - "BOMBER" NELSON CREED vs. MEMPHIS RAINES: Creed took quick advantage of Raines celebrating his win by coming in from behind and taking the cocky heel down into a schoolboy pin at 7:37.
FIFTH LEG - "BOMBER" NELSON CREED vs. MR2: Raines' younger brother came in and went toe-to-toe with Creed as they traded high-flying moves, but the "Bomber" finished on top as he put MR2 in the Texas cloverleaf for the submission win at 10:51.
SIXTH LEG - "BOMBER" NELSON CREED vs. "DYNAMITE" DAVEY RICHARDS: These two put on a show of brilliant moves and countermoves along with a few acrobatics as they showed the Vancouver fans what the X-Division is made of; in the end, Creed scored his third win in a row by taking Richards down with a belly-to-belly suplex for the 1-2-3 at 16:22.
SEVENTH LEG - VANCE NEVADA vs. "BOMBER" NELSON CREED: As determined as he was, Creed finally ran out of luck when the veteran Nevada came in and eliminated the "Bomber" by using the "Grade A" finisher to get the pin at 18:57.
EIGHTH LEG - "WILDMAN" DARREN OSBORNE vs. VANCE NEVADA: Osborne came into the match and dazzled the crowd with his aerial expertise, using it to good effect as he flattened Nevada with a top-rope missile dropkick for the upset pinfall at 20:10.
FINAL LEG - TOM PEARCE vs. "WILDMAN" DARREN OSBORNE: Pearce ran in quickly as soon as Osborne got the third count over Nevada, with the fans going crazy as the two archrivals tore into each other with fury. Osborne appeared to have the upper hand at one point when he sprung off the middle rope to clothesline Pearce, only for the high-flying redhead to mistakenly nail referee Bill Coltrane when Pearce got out of the way. Osborne held on to the advantage as he nailed Pearce with a top-rope frog splash, but his pin attempt on the one-time Juvenile Delinquent turned out for nothing without the half-conscious Coltrane there to make the count; this enabled Pearce's bodyguard, The Hoodlum, to run in and smash a trash can over the "Wildman's" back to stun the popular high-flyer. Recovering from the frog splash, Pearce climbed to the top rope himself and flew off to deliver a kneedrop before hooking Osborne's leg for the pin, which a coming-to Coltrane came over to count and end the match in Pearce's favor at 25:19. Hoodlum then came back in to celebrate the title victory with Pearce as the fans booed the result, but the boos would get louder the moment Pearce grabbed the arena mic and told the crowd that he had a surprise in store for them, then called out the surprise - which turned out to be all three members of The Racketeers, as Don Corleone, Vito Lograsso and Tony Valentino all came in to join the celebration, which ended with Corleone taking the mic and announcing that, as the result of a deal made earlier that day, Pearce and Hoodlum were now the newest members of The Cartel - but that the surprises were not done yet.

Winner and new South Coast X-Division champion - TOM PEARCE

NWA CANADIAN WOMEN'S TITLE TOURNAMENT, CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL:

MADISON vs. SARAH STOCK: Sarah dominated through most of this contest and looked strong against Madison, no-selling most of Madison's moves and even dropkicking Don Corleone off the ring apron when he jumped up to try to distract senior referee Vern Siebert. When Sarah attempted to put a stepover toehold on Madison, though, the blonde diva kicked Stock away, causing her to fall backward and hit the back of her head against the top turnbuckle. As Siebert checked up on Sarah's condition, Madison distracted the ref and began arguing with him as she positioned him to turn his back; as Sarah was shaking out the cobwebs from falling into the turnbuckles, an unexpected visitor made his presence felt as Vince Russo, who was last seen at the last Pacific Coast Wrestling show on July 28, ran to ringside holding what appeared to be a piece of cloth, then grabbed the still-down Sarah from outside and put the cloth over her mouth and nose. While Madison continued keeping Siebert busy, Sarah thrashed about as she tried to get out of Russo's grip with the cloth, but her efforts were in vain as she soon fell limp before Russo let her go. Seeing Sarah unconscious by the ropes, Madison then ran over and dragged her opponent to the center of the ring, then bounced off the ropes and legdropped Sarah before hooking her leg as Siebert made the three-count to end the match at 11:37 and make Madison the first NWA Canadian women's champion, much to the fans' chagrin due to Russo's interference from outside factoring into the outcome. As the crowd booed, Siebert handed the title belt to Madison, who, not content to just gloat about her tainted victory, proceeded to stomp away at Sarah after the match and even thrash at her with the belt - but Faith Hutchins put an end to that quickly as she ran in and chased the new champion out of the ring. Madison threw a fit as she, Corleone and Russo backed down the aisle from the ring, accusing Faith of spoiling her title win celebration, while Faith helped a just-coming-to Sarah to sit up, then took the arena mic and laid the verbal smackdown on the Cartel duo and Russo: "Hey Madison! Russo! Is this what you like doing? Is this the kind of bulls*** you like to try to win a championship? First you screw me out of making it to the final, then you pull this kind of screwjob crap to get the Canadian title! If that's how you wanna do it, then hear this, Madison - I want you in the ring, and I want that title! And the next time we meet, I guaran-damn-tee that you won't be leaving with the belt - or looking the same way you did coming in!" Faith then dropped the mic and, as the fans cheered her challenge to Madison, she made a title belt gesture across her waist with her hands and pointed toward the concerned-looking champion.

MARK RILEY, seeking revenge against JONATHAN WHITE (with Vince Russo & Don Corleone) for last week's attack on Vid Vain, overcame the combination of White's martial arts moves and dirty tactics and Russo and Corleone's involvement from outside (with one distracting Mike Edwards while the other would strike the downed Riley or choke him on the ropes) and came back strong, eventually overpowering White and, pulling an MMA move from out of his sleeve, trapped his foe in the triangle choke to try to force a submission - but Corleone prevented that from happening as he ran in and stomped Riley in the back, resulting in Edwards awarding Mark the match by disqualification at 14:35. Russo then called out more help against Riley as Vito Lograsso, Tony Valentino, Tom Pearce and The Hoodlum all ran out and joined Corleone in going after the big man in a five-on-one gang beatdown (White, still out of it from Riley's triangle choke, did not take part). Russo himself then rolled into the ring and ordered Lograsso and Valentino to grab each of Riley's arms, and then, getting full of bravado, demanded the mic and taunted the Cartel's battered rival: "Who is this? WHO is this?! Is this the big, bad Mark Riley I've been hearin' so much about? Youse ain't lookin' so big, bad or tough right now, are you, tough guy?" As the loud boos rained down from the fans, Russo continued, "And where are your friends right now, huh? Where are they? Your old tag team partner Crusher Shiva's retired 'cause he knew not to mess with me...I drove Dick Starbuck out of Vancouver...I hired some muscle to take out your brother Ricky and your cousin Troy...and best of all, I had your pal Dark Avenger taken out as well and I suspended his ass from Pacific Coast Wrestling for tryin' to threaten me! So who do ya got now, huh? You got NOBODY! I take credit for runnin' each and every one of your friends out of Vancouver, and now, I'm about to take great pleasure in makin' YOU a nobody as well once I have The Cartel finish youse off and run youse out of here as well! Then once that's done, I'm goin' right after each and every staff member who was part of PCW and I'm takin' them to court for shuttin' down that company and leavin' me out of work! For now though - boys, you know what to do!" On Russo's order, Corleone, Lograsso, Valentino, Pearce and Hoodlum continued their vicious gang assault on Riley, intent on attempting to end the popular big man's career - but the boos soon ended up turning into cheers as Dick Starbuck, also last seen in PCW on July 28, charged into the ring to help Riley out as he laced into each of the Cartel members with punches. As Starbuck was busy pounding Valentino, however, Hoodlum ran straight into the California surfer with a knee to the back, bringing Starbuck down and allowing the heels to retake the upper hand against the two fan favorites. The tone would change again moments later, though, the moment the Green Day song "Brain Stew" boomed over the Agrodome PA system, and the fans' cheers got louder than at any other time during the evening as soon as the familiar tune began playing, followed by none other than Dark Avenger himself, kendo stick in hand, stormed the ring and let each of the Cartel goons have it with the stick. Energized by Avenger's arrival and the crowd reaction, Riley and Starbuck found their second wind as well and turned the tide against Russo and his hit squad and cleared them from the ring, finishing with Starbuck dropkicking Corleone out through the ropes, then Riley clotheslining Hoodlum over the top rope, and finally with Avenger delivering a superkick to hated archrival Valentino to send him out to the floor. As The Cartel regrouped and were forced to retreat, Russo ranted and raved in anger outside the ring while Avenger, Riley and Starbuck stood tall in the ring in defiance of the heel stable's threat against SCPW as the fans applauded their heroes' efforts.
