Untitled - January 2, 2002

Pale hands that are cool to the touch,
are wrapped in the warmth of velvet green,
but even with the heat of the inside,
long fingers remain
like fresh snow upon white birch.

A single clasp of warmth against cold
begins the challenge
of finding a medium
between fire and ice
without the loss of contact.
