Untitled - January 11, 2002
In the early morning hours
even before the sun rises,
a blanket of silence
lies heavy in the air.
Even as the stars blink away
from the daytime eyes,
thoughts leave and turn towards
wondering if everyone sees the same
constellations
with the clarity
of this not-yet daytime.
On and on,
the stars tumble across the heavens
until they too,
find their place
amongst everything else
that brightly shines.
