Untitled - June 7, 2004
It's the awkward splay of limbs
that fuels the imagination --
crossed to hide slick folds
only to squeak across
the stained vinyl.
It's the absolute stillness
between one breath
and the next
that masks the pleasure
lurking within deep eyes
and stilled hearts.
It's the muffled cry of release
that reverberates in this cramped space --
diligently ignoring the knowing looks
cris-crossing across the glass barrier.
