A challenge from Bear to use the words cherry lips in a poem
Here goes.
Cherry Lips
As we lie here in this secluded place,
far from our hectic day to day,
your lips, cherry stained,
taste mine
as we share more than
just the picnic lunch.

Cherry lips
become the point
of focus
for all the sunlight
peeking through
the dappled shade.
Pressing a string of kisses
against barren skin,
the rouge cerise smudges
slowly
until it traces
the hallows of the flesh.
