About the Founder...
Name: Patrick Duhe
Age: 22
Date/Place of Birth: 6 December 1978, Slidell LA
Occupation: USAF
Hobbies: Hiking, Photography, Canoeing, Exploring,
Computers, Movies, Paranormal Investigating
Personality: Generally laidback, and carefree. Enjoying to
make others laugh, or even smile, carrying a personal slogan
saying "Life is not funny, if there nothing to make fun of."
He personally believes that aside from his down-to-earth-lifestyle,
that he has what many call "weird luck", where as something that
would normally happen to someone, has to happen dramatically to
him. Noone really can explain it, but for one to know, you have to
be with him when it happens.
Overall, he is a kind hearted individual that often sacrifices himself many times over to make others smile. It's his way of living, and his reason for life.
Founder's Origins: "Truthfully, it all happened by true fate. One day, while I was out on the Yorktown Battlefields, I was doing some photography to better enhance my skills. The day seemed quite perfect for it. Clear with little haze, the air was crisp and cool, with a slight breeze. I just came back from taking some pictures of deer when I notticed that I had a half of a roll of film left in my camera. So to not waste any, I thought I should try a few shots of the Yorktown Memorial Cemetery, for a little gothic setting practice."
"Later that day, after I got my film developed, I was looking at them in my car like I always do, just incase I got any errors, to take those pictures back to check the exposure. Most came out good, except one, which had some smokey haze in it. I took the film and the negatves to the on of the techs in the photolab, and the asked if I smoke. I replied that I haven't and never will. Other than that, they couldn't make two cents of it, cept the said that that I might have smudged my lens. I got back to my car and checked over my camera. No smudges."
"Later that day, I went toa friend's house and showed him the pictures from the park. He looked through them and stopped on one. After looking at it for awhile he told me with a smirk that I caught a ghost on film. Sure enough, it was the one with the haze on it. He then showed me a few websites that helped me understand more about ghosts on film and other methods of doing research on them. I never really accepted it at first, and was a skeptic over the entire matter."
"Being somewhat ignorant to the matter, I let it rest. A few weeks later, a relative of mine passed away. After the funeral, I was left with a hole in my thoughts about death. A few days later, after I was packing to move out of my apartment, I came across the photo again. I sat down with the photo and looked outside. Sunset was already turning into nightfall, so I decided to grab my camera and try out a few graveyards (do not try this after sunset, it is against the law, I wasn't aware of that at the time and am looking to see if there is a permit to do such activities)."
"I must have wasted 3 rolls of film, in which one roll actually got developed, and on that one rolls, I got my first orb on 2 pictures. It was here that pretty much inspried me to continue my studies and to try to hopefully find out more between the life and the what lays next. I later felt like Edgar Allen Poe in a sense, being that the more tradgedy that happened around my life influenced me to better myself at my art. I then came to a point where normal ghost hunts were not enough and decided to perform all out investigations. As time passed, my studies into the supernatural grew deepers and my wisdom in the subject expanded. I then began to come out with new possiblities by performing thanotopsis (meditation about death, when one tries to seek knowledge about what is after life), this process takes alot to think about, but with enough thought placed into it, you deepen your wisdom, and began to appreciate the life that you live more. Respect is the end result, respect for those living and dead."
Favorite Quote: "Nowadays, there are angry spirits all around us. Many died from wars, plauges, and starvation. So you say you have a curse, so's the whole damn world."
