| (Christie’s View) I watched Howie sleep. My hands softly ran across is muscles. A started to fall asleep when I heard noises from outside. Something came crashing through the window. Howie shot up & we both got dressed. Kara also woke up & stayed curled up under her covers. I saw a note attached to something. Howie picked the note & read it. Dorough/Adams, By the time you read this it will be too late. We told you we would win. Howie’s face paled & I looked around the room for danger. Then a gas came out of the ball that the note was tied on. I felt tired & remember Howie telling Kara to run. She did & ran next door. I soon gave way to sleep. Howie & I hit the floor. When I woke up I saw that Howie was next to me. Our hands were tied & we were gagged. I saw Dr. Newman come out of the office. I hated him because he was the person in charge of me when I gave birth to Kara. “Well Christie, It looks like we will have to use you or Mr. Dorough for our experiment. I heard some muffled curses from next to me. Howie had woken up & was cursing at Dr. Newman even if he was gagged. “Yes, I think you will do nicely,” Dr. Newman said referring to Howie. He let us go & told us that we had 1 hour to decided whether I was doing it or Howie was. The other one would be let go. Howie paced the room & I sat thinking that there was nothing I could do to stop them. It was too horrible to think about. I started crying. Howie came over to comfort me. I soon fell asleep in his arms. |
