Part II
(Howie’s View)
I sat in a wheelchair at the altar. My family & friends sat in the audience. Kara was the flower girl. She looked so pretty in her dress. Christie was coming down the isle. You could tell she was pregnant. Twins, I never thought I would hear the word. We had a wonderful ceremony. Our reception was wonderful. Everyone ate, had fun, and talked. Kevin drove Christie, Kara, and me home. Christie & I stayed up & talked about the rest of our lives. From being together to the children. Christie received custody of Kara.

(Christie’s View)
“Agggh,” I screamed in pain as a contraction ripped through my body.
“Christie it’s OK,” my husband said trying to calm me down.
“O.K. Christie,” said the doctor, “It’s time to push. When I say push, I need you to do so and do it for a ten second interval.”
That’s all I did for an hour, until my final child was out of my body. A boy and a girl. Howie kissed my sweat-covered forehead. I held one of my children and Howie held the other. Tears of happiness slipped down both of our faces. Howie kissed my forehead once again and told me he loved me. Right then and there we were the happiest & proudest parents in the world.
