| (B-Rok’s View) I wondered what Mom & D were talking about. All I knew was that he had gotten into another rumble. Oh well, enough about that. I was trying to beat Nick & Matt at Mario Kart. Nick was ahead of me & Matt was on my tail. I turned the corner as Nick crashed just seconds before the finish line. I beat him & Matt. “Yes I won. Now, your first job is cleaning up all of my stuff.” “Awwww.” That was the deal. The losers were the winner’s slaves for the week. I’ve been the winner for a month now. Mom came back out & started dinner. Kev went up & started talking to her. “OK mom, I’m done my homework.” J. said as he started to get up so he could join us. “Wait!” “What?” “Let me see your work.” J. grew quiet. I knew that meant that he hadn’t finished. “Finnish your work Alex; then you can play” Moms they know everything. I guess its because we have our various habits & some of us have problems with lying to people. I sat & looked at my family. We were pathetic, but we were a family & I am proud of that. |
