Prayer |
| In our daily struggle to improve I think we’ve forget that God is here for us. Due to the immense respect we have for God, the creator of heaven and earth, an Almighty Being. We forget that before that He is our Father, our Guide, our Mentor. Therefore, we should pray to Him as our Father, as our close friend and confidant, as the one who knows us more than anyone else, and the one who Loves us more than anyone else can ever Love us. Your spirit knows that in prayer there is comfort and a power that heals. Prayer is the foundation to which we build a communication with the Holy Spirit of God. God hears all of our prayers, no matter how we pray. But, the more spiritual the prayer the greater the comfort and peace, and the closer you are to achieving the highest degree of elevation towards God, spirit to Spirit communication with God. At that moment nothing comes between your spirit and God. The passions and influences from the flesh do not interfere, sin and embarrassment do not interfere, vanity and pride do not interfere, and selfishness and materialism do not interfere. God does not allow anything to come between us and Him.
Luke 22: 39-46 The Lord has placed within all of us, His light, and the seeds of perfection. What we have to do is discipline our mind and our spirit with Love, reclaim our sensitivity so that it will allow us to express our most compassionate thoughts, and be willing to accept the perfect, wise and Loving will of our Father. The road to be able to accomplish this is through prayer. This is what will lead us to goodness, and keep evil at a distance. When we pray, our prayers destroy the darkness, and all the bonds of temptation. Prayer saturates our environment with spirituality, and counters the forces of evil. When you don’t pray your mind will surrender to thoughts which are needless and material. Stop depriving your spirit the joy of feeling God, of feeling the presence of the Divine. Let Gods light illuminate your life, feel His Love, rejoice in His guidance. Then and only then will you recognize the truth and understand your errors. With prayer allow the Holy Spirit to penetrate into your heart, invite Him into your home, allow Him to live with you. Through prayer you will manage to obtain peace, even during the most difficult moments. Prayer comes from the heart not from the lips. Prayer comes from the deepness of your spirit, so that with sincerity, humility and confidence you can say to God, “Not my will, but yours be done. I offer myself to you with all my heart, mind, soul and spirit.” Set aside a part of each day, even if it is as brief as just five minutes in the morning or five minutes in the evening to seek God in the silence of your inner temple. Your conscience. It’s there that you will be in communion with the Holy Spirit. It’s there that you offer to God your True Love and sincere worship. It’s there that your sense of responsibility will awaken, and where you will be able to hear the voice of your conscience, that will lead you on the path of your true destiny. When your spirit pauses to hear the voice of your conscience, truly I say to you, at that moment, you are with God. Make a good examination of yourself with the light of your conscience, in order to observe your action of that day and know what to correct. Each day brings forth its trials and struggles, and God will observe how you receive them, and the results of how you deal with them. Many of these trail will be minor, and with them you can set in motion the corrections you need to strive for perfection. But without analyzing these ordeals you might reject them, and if you proceed in that manner, how can you prepare yourself for the greater trials in your life. Bless your afflictions, do not dry your tears with anger, for as prolonged as your suffering might seem to you here on Earth, when you inhabit the spiritual realm, you will feel as if it were only a minute, and you will realize all the good it did for you. If you examine yourself daily you will improve your manner of thinking, living, speaking and feeling. When you pray you awaken the Holy Spirit within you. “Seek the Kingdom God and His righteousness, and all things shall be added unto you.” Forget about your human preoccupation’s and concentrate on your spirituality. God is aware of all your needs and is committed to alleviating all your concerns according to his will. If on occasions, you feel disappointed because He has not granted what you have asked for, it is not that you are not Loved by the Father, it is because it is what is best for you. That moment of quietness and serenity may not happen the first time you try. keep trying! You will absolutely know when the Holy Spirit has filled your thoughts. Others of you will promptly submit to your self-examination, thereby avoiding much bitterness and quickly being able to acknowledge your faults and unrighteous deeds of the day. Yet again, others of you will take a long time in coming out of your confusion. Keep praying! Pray for Divine Charity and Gods Grace. Gods wisdom will prevail. God is among us, although we cannot touch Him with our hands, or behold Him with our physical eyes, He is there. He comes in Spirit to speak to us and He will teach us how we should seek Him in our prayer. Those of you who have reached an understanding of the value of prayer and have found it’s Divine Essence, are those who need to pass it on as the seed of spirituality, which tomorrow will spread among mankind. Put forth all your Love toward this cause and you will have earned the merit of having prepared the road for the advent of the new generations, who will bring to the world the message of spirit to Spirit communication with our Savior. Don’t be satisfied believing that by just praying five minutes a day you have succeeded with your mission. You must dedicate the rest of the time to the struggle of complying with the duties of your spirit, sowing among your brethren, the seeds of Love and charity. Remember, that in order to be saved, an instant of prayer or even a day of Love is not enough, rather a life of perseverance, of patience, of elevated deeds and observance of Gods Divine Laws is required.
