Jim's Musicals
Batman: Music and Lyrics by Jim Steinman, book by David Ives, to be directed by Tim Burton.  The musical will portray Batman much in the way he was portrayed in the Burton films.  Coming out in 2004/5, but this is theater time, so it could take forever.
Whistle Down the Wind:  Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Lyrics by Jim Steinman
My friend Janine said it best when she said that it sounds like the Jim and ALW  are fighting over who's musical it's going to be.  I've been feeling like ALW is cranking out musicals too fast and not really perfecting them, so as a show it's a bit awkward.  But an existence without "A Kiss is a Terrible Thing to Waste" would be just too cruel.
Wuthering Heights California:  eh. the script bit about as hard as you can bite.  i enjoyed the music anyway, still, it's sad to see possibilities lost.
The Dream Engine: Instead of taking exams like a normal person, Jim made this in college.  This musical brought him straight out of college into Joseph Papp's theater in New York. It's poetic and insane, and the concept seems to have developed into...
Neverland:  the Holy Grail of Jimdomia.  I plan to be front row center opening night!  I may be forty by then, but I'll be there.  Most of Jim's songs seem to have sprung from this sci-fi fantasy. Needless to say, I wants it!

The Confidence Man:  This is a rather odd musical where Jim wrote the music and not the lyrics.  It's got a New Orleans kind of feel to it, and it's honestly, not very good. It's hard to know what's really going on. It's just odd.  It includes music from songs like "For Sarah" and "The Future Ain't What It Used To Be."  That and the two songs "Edging into Darkness" and "Nocturnally" make it totally worth it anyway.
More Than You Deserve:  A Joeseph Papp production from the mid '70's. I want a transcript of this in the worst way.  I can't understand half the things they're singing, but I can understand enough to know it's unbelievable.  Songs like "Golden Egg" and "What Became of the People We Were," it's too awesome!
