MINICOM
Hyper Terminal Of
Linux
I was stuck once when had to configure a Cisco Router using Telnet...I cant
telnet Router directly. as there is no configuration there...so had to telnet a
Computer than connect to console of Router. In a GUI i can do HyperTerminal. but
in telnet there was no way to do it. until a friend (Anurag Kuthiala) told me
about MINICOM... so i configured Minicom in Linux. telnet to Linux and got the
router connected....
Minicom is a serial communication program. It is a Unix clone of the well-known
MS-DOS Telix program. It has ANSI color, a dialing directory, dial-a-list, and a
scripting language.
