Cell phones can be more useful than you think!
Late last night we lost power due to a strong storm. Since we did not know whether or not our alarm clock would be functioning properly in the morning, my husband and I grabbed our cell phones and programmed in "appointments" for the morning to ensure that we would wake up in time for work. The background lights for the phones also worked nicely as flashlights as we wandered around the house checking up on things. How far cell phones have come from the day when you could only use them to talk to people!
