Blonde Brownies
This is one of my mom's recipes and is better than the Toll House one!
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter flavored Crisco
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. salt
Cream sugar and Crisco. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add brown sugar, baking soda, peanut butter, milk, flour and salt. Roll into balls and roll in brown sugar. Bake at 375 deg. for 10-15 min. Cookies will be about 2" round. Put chocolate kiss on them while still hot.
Cheesecake
This is the best cheesecake you'll ever taste!
- 28 oz. cream cheese
- 1 pt. sour cream (2 cups)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
8" springform pan with graham cracker crust - bake the crust 10 minutes. Beat cream cheese & sugar. Beat eggs in one at a time. Beat well. The secret is to fold in sour cream & vanilla. Do that next. Pour in pan. Bake at 375 deg. for 30 min. Turn off oven - leave cake in for 1 hr. Do not open oven door. Let come to room temperature and refridgerate over night. Use your favorite topping. I prefer 'Wilderness' Premium Raspberry.
