Charter Arms Revolver Caliber 38
The Charter Arms revolver shown on the picture below is from the same type as Mumia Abu-Jamal’s weapon. The revolver has been described during the trial as a caliber 38 revolver with 5 chambers and a 5 centimeters (2 inches) long barrel (“snub nose revolver”). The gun was made of blued steel and brown wooden grips. In the 1970s this type was very popular.
The gun used for the documentary A Case For Reasonable Doubt was a more recent model having stainless steel color and black rubber grips.
