You Are An Inspiration

God created you to make the world smile
He made you shine for His children
Gave you eyes that help the world to see
Gave you hands to do great things
And a heart to embrace all wonders
To spread them far and wide
He gave you a power to free distraught hearts
A key to unlock the minds of wisdom
And a tender love to shelter His sons and daughters
From the storms of despair and bewilderment
You’re an architect of one’s spirit who never rests
A counsellor, a friend and a faithful listening ear
You never find excuses to reject a favour
So dedicated in your profession
And so unyielding in your love
You taught us that life is beautiful
And to live life passionately
Candour, valour, chivalry were woven as poetry
Into our mind’s tapestry through your tender teachings
You are the rapturous music
That taps our heartstrings
And the rivers of joy in spring
That sends ripples of vitality to our life
You are an inspiration
A wonderful creation
God’s work of art
A masterpiece in life’s gallery
Be thou a flame forever
For lives, now and tomorrow
To be remembered and treasured
For you are so much to behold,
So real, so much alive
So much to learn from
Your spirit lives on
In the many lives you’ve laid hands upon
You are an inspiration
