Betty Akins was born in 1887 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, the daughter of Andrew Jackson Akins and Emma Spillers. I have some information on Emma Spillers but nothing on Andy Akins.. If you have any history, please EMAIL me.

John Riley's parents were James W. Tilley (1840) and Louise Heflin.
Louisa Heflin was the daughter of William "Buck" Heflin and Isabella Morris.
Mary Ann was born in 1868 and died in 1947. She was the daughter of Charles Arter Cagle and Lydia Margaret Standridge. Charles Arter Cagle was married two times and had 19 children. Charles and families went to Idaho and were on the 1878 census. After the May 31 1880 census they started back to Newton County, Arkansas, they were in Kansas when some of the family members became ill with typhoid fever and died. Charles' wife Lydia had just had their 8th child two weeks before she died. Charles cut off Lydia's hair and sold it to a man who made buggy whips out of it, in exchange the man paid for the funeral. Charles also lost his small son Burton and his sister Nancy Cagle Standridge, and a nephew General Alexander Standridge. Charles was a Farmer, Wagon Train Driver, and a Baptist Minister. Charles and Mary's marriage date and dates of birthdates of children are from Pension records, and dates of deaths are from headstones and family members.
Charles Arter Cagle was the son of Henry Cagle (1812) and Martha Isabelle Pinetree. MARY ELIZABETH TILLEY who was married to GENERAL ALEXANDER STANDRIDGE, and then to CHARLES ARTER CAGLE.
(CHARLES ARTER CAGLE and LYDIA MARGARET STANDRIDGE were the parents of LEMUEL RILEY "LEM" CAGLE AND MARY ANN CAGLE who married MARY ELIZABETH TILLEY'S brother and sister.)
