Women's Group
The Ladies of Saint Mark Lutheran Church are very active within our community. They participate in the local Crafts Festivals, and most of the Pemberton Borough & Pemberton Township community functions. This year at the Pemberton Fall Fest, the Ladies sold baked goods and crafts. The Ladies opened their booth for the Youth Group to raise some moneys for their projects. The kids painted faces, and made bead crafts for the sale. The Kids would like to thank the generosity of the Crescent Shrine Clowns, Noodles, Crackers, Pappy, & Giz-Moe for their appearance. The children really enjoyed them!!
They are also collecting items for the Lutheran World Relief Project. Donations of School Supplies are needed this year and the Ladies have vowed to come to their aid. They are encouraging everyone to bring what ever they can for the needy.
They had a strong showing at the Church's annual Yard Sale. They aided shoppers with their selections and answered any questions they had. Our Ladies also sell their baked goods to our Parishioners throughout the year.
This year, in October they will be taking orders for Thanksgiving Pies. The pies will be available November 22, 2000 at a cost of $7.00 a pie. You have a choice of either Apple or Pumpkin. They will also be selling "Home~Made" cookies after the Service in the Narthex on the second Sunday in December.
They meet on the third Tuesday of the Month at 7:00 PM at The Church. Refreshments are served, and we welcome and encourage new members to attend the group with open arms!
