CHAPTER 23

Coming Soon

UPDATE: August 25, 2009 -

Hi all. I'm still alive and kicking at the traces, although I'm sure that the rumors to the contrary are rampant. I'm certain that you've heard about the end of Geocities looming on October 26. For those wondering about the fate of Flights of Fantasy, and concerned that the site will simply vanish from the web on that day, fear not. This site is a Geocities Plus site, and therefore will not go the way of the free Geocities sites, which are set to be deleted on that sad day. After October 26, I'll simply upgrade to Yahoo Webhosting, and visitors will be redirected. For details, read right here. As you see, this is what Yahoo assures. However, as a person keenly aware, particularly of late, that, as Robert Burns wrote, "The best laid schemes o' Mice an' Men, gang aft agley"(go astray, askew, awry, straight to hell in a handbasket), I am always expectant of SNAFUs, and therefore have backed up my site in three places, and my story in innumerable more, including the Gateway Windows 98 giganormous beastie I first started writing it on. I have no intention of permitting these pages to disappear into the nether.

In regard to the dismantlement of Geocities, I've recently been asked if I have my story archived at another location on the internet. I currently do not. However, I am a member of Fanfiction.net, and I may well post my stories there in the near future. My plan is to complete the revision and post Chapter 23 here first, as posting Feathers In the Maelstrom in another place will usurp a considerable amount of time. And speaking of Feathers in the Maelstrom...

...I am currently finishing the revision of FITM, and I will post Chapter 23 as soon as possible. Forgive me for the long hiatus, and...thank you for your patience.

...It was night, and the rain fell; and falling, it was rain, but having fallen, it was blood.

And I stood in the morass among the tall and the rain fell upon my head.

And the lilies sighed one unto the other in the solemnity of their desolation.
