2005 TRINATIONS
CARDIFF -9th/10th July 2005

The third Scafftag Tri National tournament between Ireland, UK and Wales took place in the strong Cardiff sun. The first really hot weekend of the year meant that the horses struggled in the heat (as did the humans!!!)
This is a personal account of the Tri Nations and the photographs are those which I managed to take in between my parental duties. Apologies to Imogen, Joel, Nerys, Sam and Tom that there are no photos of them. During their games I was either walking horses or watching Becky, Bryony and Claudia in the Junior matches.
Pennine were out in force at the Trinations with 10 players (half of the eligible playing membership) being members of National Squad teams or acting in an official capacity. In addition two further non-playing members were acting in official positions

Joel, Sam and Tom were part of the winning U21 team and further congratulations go to Sam for being voted best horse and rider combination by their Irish Opponents.
