Midland August 2001
The Midland tournament is always a thoroughly enjoyable competition with a few
days of excellent training preceding the weekends competition.
Unfortunately this
years tournament did not produce as many wins as Pennine would have liked
with only the Juniors managing to win their division. However, every Pennine
player gave excellent performances and our A-Division team was only narrowly
beaten by Kent Target to come a respectable second place.
Individually Pennine
was more successful with James Davidson winning Best Number 1 and Penny Beaumont
won Best Number 3 and Best Horse and Rider combination.
Hopefully next years tournament will prove more fruitful for Pennine.
