PRESENTATION BALL AWARDS

At the end-of-season Presentation Ball last October many Pennine players received awards for various polocrosse achievements.
The Jock Kay Memorial Trophy for the best Open Division horse went to Dippy, Penny Beaumont’s horse.

The Laura Millington Memorial Trophy for contribution to Pony Club polocrosse was awarded to Guy Robertson, who also won the Men’s shield for Best Number 2.
The Ladies’ shields for Best Number 2 and 3 went to Lizzie Wright-Roberts and Penny Beaumont, respectively, and Martin Brookes was awarded the Chairman’s Trophy, which is for the player whose involvement in polocrosse is deemed most beneficial to the sport in the opinion of the Chairman.

Keith Mason and Edward Beckerlegge were also presented with personalised whistles, caps and certificates for becoming accredited umpires.
It was a very successful Presentation Ball for Pennine, let’s just hope we’re as successful this year.
