Under 21s Final Selection
The final choices for an Under 21 squad to represent the UKPA in South Africa this summer have been made. Pennine’s Guy Robertson and Edward Beckerlegge have been selelcted for the Men’s Under 21 team, with Guy’s younger brother, James, as a non-travelling reserve.
Obviously these young men are very pleased they have been given this opportunity
and Pennine are proud to have had so many of our members selected for UKPA squads.
A further five members of our club were chosen for other UKPA teams which is
an excellent achievement for Pennine and proves our regular practices, training
weekends and winter on-foot practices are very beneficial to players.
Guy and Edward will leave for South Africa later this year and hopefully Edward
will have caught up on his jetlag by then, as he has only just returned from
nine months of polocrosse in Australia.
Congratulations to them both and we all hope you enjoy yourselves.
