Arden 6th/7th July 2002
Ardens tournament sees the seasons first visit to the Lodders
home in Henley-in-Arden. The Warwickshire-based club provides this same venue
for Midland Camp and tournament the following month and over the years it has
become a familiar ground. With numerous fields providing room for three different
pitches and plenty of camping space for players and horses, this weekend usually
attracts many teams from most of the countrys clubs.
The notorious chicken shed parties are another factor influencing the number of entries, guaranteeing eventful evenings. The regularly large turnout ensures tough and close matches will be provided through the different grades, producing excellent practice and preparation for the National Championships later in the season.
