TRIP DOWN UNDER!

A number of Pennine members are travelling to Darwin, Australia, for this year’s Australian National Championships.

Mike and Dawn Goodfellow, Dave, Sue and Ellen Brookes, Lindsey Maclean, Nerys Cross and Anna Robertson will all be making the journey to the other side of the world to attend the event which only occurs every other year.

The Australian National Championships take place at the beginning of July and attract massive crowds to see the high-quality polocrosse which the competition is guaranteed to produce. The Australian game is one of the most advanced in the world with many of the Junior divisions producing higher levels of play and horsemanship than those in our country.

Dave and Mike will not only be representing Pennine, but also the UKPA, as they fulfil the national roles of Chairman and Secretary, respectively.

With wonderful hot weather and some of the highest standards of polocrosse to be seen, they will definitely enjoy themselves at the same time as working on their tans! Not forgetting they are representing Pennine on an international scale.
