How long have you been playing? About 17 years

How did you get into polocrosse? A family friend dropped off a horse, this introduced
me to riding as well as polocrosse

What racquet do you use? A Matt Still

What's your favourite playing position and why? No.3, I feel in control of the game, at no.3 you do a
lot of the dirty work to make goals, its not a glory position. This is why no.1 is a joint favorite, it's
for the glory boys

Who is the person/club you least like to play against and why? None, I’m a positive person and believe in my team, therefore there's no need to fear when we are near

Who is the person/club you most like to play against and why? All of them, all the clubs are pretty even, so all games turn out to be good competitive ones

Have you ever represented your country, if so when? Yes, 2000 S.A vs. New Zealand

What are the names of your horses? Chill, Gilly, Little Mo

What is your favourite horse of your own? Chill

What is your favourite horse of somebody else's?
Dippy (Penny Beaumont's horse)

What is your favourite breed of horse for polocrosse?
As long as it's an athlete, I don't really care

What's usually your favourite tournament of the season?
Nationals

What's your best polocrosse memory? Being selected to represent South Africa in 2000

What's your most memorable game? S.A Club championships 1999 because I had a horrific
fall as a 3, and was temporarily knocked out. I then went on to play a number one and pumped through 8
goals in the last chukka to win the Nationals

What polocrosse awards have you won? Don't you mean what haven't I won?!

What do you like about the club? The commitment by all the members, having good
strength in all divisions and always having a competitive team to play in

What are your polocrosse aims for the future? For Pennine to win all divisions at the nationals
