Help is wanted in the church office to
cover while
Peggy is on vacation to answer the phone
and greet
visitors. No skills are needed! Hours are 9
a.m. to noon.
Days that need
coverage are: Tuesday – July 29; Thursday-July 31; and Fridays-July25 &
Aug. 1. Call the office if you can help. Perks include: coffee, visitors, and
air conditioning! (Thanks go out to Erma Mullins, Kathie Lawrence and Cheryl
Stewart).
Mexicali Mission Trip
The next meeting for those
interested in attending this years mission trip will be on Tuesday, July 15 at
7 p.m. This date will be the last chance for sign-ups. $300 is needed at this
date to purchase airline tickets in order to get a lowest possible rate.
Newsletter
It’s time to begin
planning for the August newsletter. The deadline for contributions of newsy
news and promotions of upcoming events and activities will need to be submitted
to the office by Friday, July 11, due
to the fact that the secretary will be away on vacation the last two weeks of
the month. Thank you for your cooperation.
Gone Fishin’
Mark your calendars
for Saturday, July 26, for an all-church fishing day! We will meet at 3 p.m. at
the boat launch, fish for a while and then have a dish to pass supper. Hot
dogs, rolls and drinks will be provided. Chaperones/ parents are needed to
help. For more information contact Eileen Modaffari at 694-8267.
