Mark your calendars
for Saturday, July 26, for an all-church fishing day! We will meet at 3 p.m. at
the boat launch, fish for a while and then have a dish to pass supper. Hot
dogs, rolls and drinks will be provided. Chaperones/ parents are needed to
help. For more information contact Eileen Modaffari at 694-8267.
For those people who have offered their help and donations for the ABMEN’s sandwich making effort. On Friday, August 8, please bring sandwich fixings to the church and refrigerate the perishables for the American Baptist Men’s Conference. Come at 1 p.m. and help assemble the sandwiches. Thank You

for the Trustees fundraiser. They are selling hot dogs and snack foods before
the Wednesday evening summer concerts on the courthouse lawn. For more

Across the Miles
Many of you will
remember Sharon Brink and her family who attended church here a few years ago
and moved away to Arlington, Texas. Sharon sends word that although she has a
church she attends in Arlington, she misses her church family here at PYFBC. If

from Suzie Willson; VBS Director
I’m sending a Jerusalem Marketplace full of thank you’s to
all staff members, helpers, material seekers, donationers, and prayer givers
for helping with our 2008 Vacation Bible School. Once again with all of your
input our project was a great success. A special thank you to our church
secretary, Peggy Smart, whose enthusiastic help, ideas, and flexability (even
last minute drama part) was another vital key to our success. God Bless You
