Scripture
Reading Romans 6:20-23 Pg. 208 NT
*Hymn “Praise
Ye the Lord, the Almighty” No. 482
*Silent Prayer &
Invocation
Dear Lord, When you gave us freedom
to seek you, you gave us the freedom to choose sin. It wraps around us. It
makes us sluggish. Sin make us appear to be wise, but in the things that really
count it makes us stupid. Clean out our minds, brighten our hearts, and help us
to turn away from evil. Use your truth as a mirror so that we can see who we
really are. Put your truth in our hearts so that we can be really free. We seek
these blessings in the name of the One who taught us to pray…

Thought:
Live in such a way that those who know you but don’t know God will come to
know God because they know you. |
When one door of happiness closes, another
opens,
but often we look so long at the closed door
that we do not see the one that has opened
for us.
